Welcome to the Compassionate Friends Western Australia
There is hope, you are not alone, we are compassionate friends
We are glad that you have found us, but we are sorry that you have a reason to be here. We are a self-help peer support group open to bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents. The Compassionate Friends has no religious or political affiliation, and is a worldwide organisation run by volunteers, which aims to support families with the grief following the death of a child.
The aim of our website is to provide resources to assist in the journey through the grieving process. We hope to give you an insight into our Organisation and activities. If you are recently bereaved, we hope that it will give you some information about where and when you may contact us and perhaps encourage you to come along to one of our support group meetings. We offer friendship and understanding to families who are grieving the death of a child, of any age, from any cause. We also offer support and information to relatives, friends and professionals who are helping a family.

The Compassionate Friends, WA does not receive any funding to provide this much needed service; instead it relies heavily upon the generosity and kindness of donors and fundraising initiatives.
Every gift, however small, is greatly appreciated.
Thank you to the businesses and organisations for their kind donations and sponsorship.
