of The Compassionate Friends Western Australia Inc.
We are glad that you have found us, but we are sorry that you have
a reason to be here.
We are a self-help
group open to bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents.
The Compassionate Friends has no religious or political
affiliation, is a worldwide organisation run by volunteers, which
aims to assist in the positive resolution of grief following the death of
a child.
We offer friendship and understanding to families who are
grieving the death of a child, of any age, from any cause.
We also offer advice and information to
relatives, friends and professionals who are helping a
family.
The aim of our website is to
provide resources to assist in the journey through the grieving
process. We hope to give you an
insight into our Organisation and activities.
If you are recently bereaved, we hope that it will give you some information about
where and when you may contact us and perhaps encourage you to come along
to one of our friendship meetings.

Our revamped website has been created by one of our siblings, a "learner" webdesigner. Please let us know if there is something you would like to see added. It is envisaged our new website will grow, and be regularly updated. Topics we hope to include shortly include a siblings corner, poetry, fundraising, volunteering and much more. Thank you
