Welcome to the website of The Compassionate Friends of Western Australia Inc. We are glad that you have found us, but we are sorry that you have a reason to be here.
We are a self-help group open to bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents.
The Compassionate Friends has no religious or political affiliation, and is a worldwide organisation run by volunteers, which aims to support families with the grief following the death of a child.
We offer friendship and understanding to families who are grieving the death of a child, of any age, from any cause. We also offer support and information to relatives, friends and professionals who are helping a family. Please contact us if you would like some information posted out, to come to a meeting or just to talk to someone who understands.
The aim of our website is to
provide resources to assist in the journey through the grieving
process. We hope to give you an insight into our Organisation and
activities. If you are recently bereaved, we hope that it will give
you some information about where and when you may contact us and perhaps
encourage you to come along to one of our friendship
meetings.
